Sharing is caring

For our readers over in the USA (of whom they're many... THANKS) I thought I would inform you about how some Birdies raised garden beds are now starting to be sold on Amazon.

Those that don't know, Birdies was one of the very first companies (about 12 or so years ago) to see a future in making raised garden beds out of Colorbond steel in virtually any shape desired!

Today, they have evolved as a garden product supplier and sell a large range of raised garden beds made from all types of materials but back in 2006 when I purchased my first raised garden beds from them they only specialised in the steel ribbed type (Colorbond).

10 years on, and our original Birdies raised garden beds are still going strong and not showing much signs of wear or rust whatsoever! This spring I'll be harvesting garlic, potatoes, Asian greens, pumpkins, asparagus, and ginger crops just to name a few.

Anyway, when I was browsing Amazon checking out the online raised bed market over in America I was pleased to come across a few Birdies raised garden bed products; so, I thought I would mention them in a post because I often get asked by our Website readers, visitors, and YouTube subscribers if the raised beds I use are available in the USA? And now I can say YES they are!

I know some people will think these beds are a little pricey but they are very good quality, long lasting, modulated so the same package can be made into several different shapes and sizes, and I think these types of raised beds are attractive looking around the home.

For those of you in the USA, Check out the following links:

If you're in Australia check out raised beds here on eBay to get an idea of what's out there online and also the Birdies Website.

Raised beds for food gardening or even ornamentals is a great way to grow... so get into it!
